The final week of Jump Saudi is set to showcase world-class talent in the stunning destination of Riyadh. With current ranked world number 1 and 2, Peder Fredricson and Daniel Deusser in action, the three days of show jumping will feature a host of international and local riders.
Highlights of the weekend include the 5* Longines FEI Jumping World Cup of Riyadh on Friday evening at 18.45 local time and the 5* Grand Prix on Saturday at 19.30 local time which will be streamed live and for free on the Jump Saudi website.
Edwina Tops-Alexander will be looking to continue her flying form after winning the 4* Grand Prix last weekend at Jump Saudi. Fielding her top talent Fellow Castlefield and 9yo up and coming mare Hazy Toulana they will be ones to watch throughout. Fredricson brings with him the super successful Hansson WL and fairly new to 5* level H&M Crusader Ice, while Daniel Deusser will be riding two of his best Bingo Ste Hermelle and the beautiful grey mare Jasmien vd Bisschop.
Last week’s 4* Longines FEI World Cup of Riyadh winner Holland’s Manon Hees will be back in action on Echo vh Gerendal Z along with Germany’s Philipp Weishaupt on Coby and Cool Feeling. Young Japanese rider Mike Kawai will be fighting for the win this week with Saxo de la Cour and Goldwin after multiple podium finishes last week.
There will be plenty of top contenders in action this week including Kamal Abdullah Bahamdan, Athina Onassis, Said Saad, Mouda Zeyada, Abdullah Alsharbatly and many more. Riyadh is a buzzing City with an electric and passionate atmosphere and renowned for delivering spectacular events from start to finish.
